EPSI provides rehabilitation, accommodations, skills assessment and job training services to persons with significant disabilities. We focus on the abilities within every person and not their “disabilities”.
Accommodations are made on a case by case basis. If we find that an accommodation will assist an individual in being successful at a particular job we will enact the accommodation. Accommodations may be breaks, equipment, job rotations or any number or combination of items.
Each employee is given an individual skills assessment test to determine where their skillsets are strongest and where there is opportunity to improve. We then prepare individualized employment plans for each person based on their assessments.
Individual plans include the training we believe will provide the individual the greatest opportunity for success, matching skill sets with job descriptions and finding the right person for the job the first time. In many ways employing persons with significant disabilities is no different than employing persons without disabilities. The goal is the same, to match the right person to the right job the first time, every time.
EPSI provides services to all persons with disabilities regardless of the type of disability or support requirement level. We also focus heavily on the employment of veterans; in particular on the employment of our injured war veterans. The EPSI Management team is credited for winning many local and national veterans employment awards over the years. They bring the contacts and the lessons learned during that period of time as a focal point in the organization.
